Greenwich Police “Youth Citizen’s Police Academy” New 5-Day Program, June 22 – 26

Greenwich Police car

The second annual “Youth Citizen’s Police Academy” is sponsored by Greenwich Police Department.  For any child or grandchild of Town of Greenwich employees who will be entering the 7th, 8th or 9th grade in the fall, this is a wonderful opportunity and this year it is expanded to 5 full days.

Just as the adults learn in the regular Citizen’s Police Academy, these youth will have the opportunity to meet our Police Officers and learn about their responsibilities and how the Police Department operates. They will learn first hand about Patrol Operations and Motor Vehicle stops, Marine Police operations, and what’s involved in being a good Detective. They will learn about the danger of drugs, how to prevent crimes and much, much more!!

Please see the **attached information for the dates, times and locations of this valuable and fun program. Also attached are the REQUIRED forms to be filled out and sent with the application.

All forms must be completed and returned to the Community Impact Section of the Greenwich Police Department by Friday, June 12, 2015 to be registered in the Academy
