Town Officials Plan Sidewalk Sales Debrief with Greenwich Chamber

In his First Selectman’s update on Thursday, Peter Tesei said town officials will meet this week with the Greenwich Chamber to review concerns that cropped up during sidewalk sales last month. The goal is to review requirements and regulations so that there won’t be any issues next year. The property at 599 West Putnam Ave includes an office building that is not currently visible from the street because of the old stone wall and cottage built into the wall. Representatives for the applicants said on Tuesday that the tenants planned to purchase the building, renovate it and open it up to the streetscape. On Thursday they purchased the building.
