Throughout the day, officers showcased specialized units including the SWAT team, dive team, and the department drone program. Police vehicles and equipment were displayed outside headquarters as children and families had the opportunity to speak directly with officers about their roles and training.
Forty-five members partnered with local nonprofits across Greenwich in a day of hands-on service supporting children, families, and community organizations.
The club operator pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to use an interstate facility to promote or facilitate prostitution, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years; one count of conspiracy to defraud the IRS, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years; one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years; and two counts of engaging in a monetary transaction in property derived from unlawful activity, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years on each count.

In his First Selectman’s update on Thursday, Peter Tesei said town officials will meet this week with the Greenwich Chamber to review concerns that cropped up during sidewalk sales last month. The goal is to review requirements and regulations so that there won’t be any issues next year.
