Theft of Another Expensive Handbag Thwarted

On January 13, Greenwich Police received a tip that a handbag valued at $2,150 had been found hidden behind an air conditioning unit in central Greenwich. Officers determined the handbag was missing from a central Greenwich retailer and had been stolen. Police setup visual surveillance of the handbag and observed the suspect, Joshua James Rodriguez, 24, of E 145th Street in New York, NY, retrieve the handbag and hide it in his jacket.
