Police say a man was arrested on April 14, 2018 for breaking into cars on April 14, 2017 but failed to appear in court.
A warrant for his rearrest was issued on April 16, 2017.
This past Thursday, Jan 11, Shayshawn Camaron Covert, 20, of E 229th Street in Bronx, NY turned himself in to Greenwich Police.
He was charged with Failure to Appear 1st degree. His bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post.
He has a new date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 25, 2019.
