P&Z Watch: Unintended Consequences of 6-110 Incentives for Workforce Housing Take the Stage

After an application under the Town’s 6-110 regulation to incentivize workforce housing resulted in a proposed bulky building requiring a 22 ft wide curb cut and sacrifice of a mature Sycamore, Maple and Magnolia, as well as many revisions in response both to ARC and P&Z adding expense for the applicant, all agreed the process and possibly the regulation should be reconsidered.
