State Announces $8 Million in Grants to Remediate Former Honda Dealership on Mason Street

The developer, the plaintiff in a lawsuit against the Town of Greenwich, owns six parcels of land on Mason Street including the former Honda dealership, with its history of car dealers including Studebaker and Pontiac. Lawsuit Alleges ChatGPT Intensified Old Greenwich Man’s Delusions, Led Him to Kill His Elderly Mother

According to a lawsuit filed in Caifornia, ChatGPT kept Stein-Erik Soelberg engaged for what appeared to be hours at a time, validated and magnified each new paranoid belief, and systematically reframed the people closest to him––especially his own mother––as adversaries, operatives, or programmed threats. Ultimately, Soelberg, described in the lawsuit as a 56-year-old bodybuilder, bludgeoned and strangled to death an 83-year-old woman half his size.

Connecticut-Based Oil Trader Sentenced to 15 Months in Prison in International Bribery and Money Laundering Scheme
