The Piccolina Shop, which held its grand opening at 82 Greenwich Avenue in October 2025, offering baby and toddler clothing, gifts and gear, has been closed with no explanation in recent days.
On Wednesday, the doors were locked and the lights off inside the shop, where racks of baby and toddler clothes were visible.

According to the Secretary of the State website, The Piccolina Shop, Inc, registered to Lenamarie Scilipoti (vice president) and Frank Santelli (president) is active, but their annual report has been overdue since May 16, 2025. They last filed on May 16, 2024.
The Piccolina Shop’s Instagram is down. The website is not accessible and their Facebook is also down.
The Norwalk Hour reported on Jan 29 there were plans for the Greenwich-based Piccolina Shop to expand to a location at 117 Washington Street in South Norwalk.
Yelp says, “The Piccolina Shop is temporarily closed. Scheduled to reopen on September 30, 2027.”
Andrea Blume, executive director of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce replied to a request for comment saying, “We’ve received a few calls over the past week from customers asking what’s going on, and we’ve also seen some of the chatter on local Greenwich social media pages. We’ve tried reaching out directly, but so far haven’t been able to connect — their mailbox is full.”
“They’re a member in good standing with us and have always had a strong following in Fairfield County. We’ve never received any complaints, and this situation is definitely out of the ordinary for them.”
The Piccolina Shop did not respond to a request for comment from GFP on Wednesday.
