Fan’s of Goose Celebrate His “Bark for Life”

Fans of a dog named Goose gathered for a fundraiser Friday night at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Stamford. Goose, who was left tied to a pole in a NYC basement, made his way to animal control’s euthanasia list. He got lucky and was pulled by a rescue group, only to be diagnosed with Cancer. At Friday’s “Bark for Life” event Goose greeted guests and shared gratitude for the care he’s received. His cancer is in remission. Continue Reading →

DENIED: CT Siting Council Votes to Deny Eversource Substation at 290 Railroad Ave

Update: Eversource issued the following statement May 13, 2:30pm. While we’re disappointed with the Council’s decision, we’re encouraged that its members understand the urgent electric reliability needs of Greenwich. The decision provides us an opportunity to come up with a modified solution to address the capacity and reliability challenges in Greenwich.  We’ll look for additional savings as we redesign our proposal.
