On Saturday a Greenwich volunteer firefighter set up a GoFundMe for the family of Greenwich School bus driver, Bryson Kent Bowman, who died from COVID-19 in Stamford Hospital on April 4, 2020.
Mr. Bowman had worked for Student Transportation of America since 2017. He was a member of Transport Workers Union Local 100 who posted news of Mr. Bowman’s death on their website.
Bowman was a resident of Stamford. He survived by a wife and four children.
“On behalf of the entire Greenwich community, we deeply mourn the loss of Mr. Bowman,” wrote Wheatleigh Dunham who created the GoFundMe page. Dunham said 100% of donated funds will go to Mr. Bowman’s wife.
