Original story: For the fourth year, Greenwich Free Press will give away two general admission tickets for Serendipity’s Wine + Food Festival at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Saturday, Sept 22.
The all-day passes give access to all food, drink, chefs, music and more. The event is rain or shine. No infants or strollers. Must be 21.
The tickets sell for $210 each, and are good from 12:30pm – 10:00pm.

HOW TO ENTER: The rules are simple. Email the GFP editor [email protected] your poem incorporating five of the participating local establishments listed below in your rhyming efforts.
There is no minimum or maximum word count, though brevity is appreciated!
The deadline to enter is Tuesday, Sept 18 by 12:00 noon.
We will forward all poems submitted to the judges.
The winner will be announced some time on Thursday, Sept 19.
Email submissions to: [email protected] and mark WINE + FOOD FESTIVAL TICKET CONTEST in the subject line.
Once judges have selected the winner, we’ll announce the winner online and forward winner’s name to the event organizers.
The winner will collect tickets at the event.

GFP will publish entries on the home page and Facebook as we receive them, so invite your friends to like and share them.
A decision on the winner will be made by the panel of four judges.
The winner’s tickets will be good for two general admission (value $210 each) on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Grand Tasting (12:00pm – 5:00pm)
As the heart of the Festival on Saturday, this tent hosts 150+ food and beverage tastings. Guests sample from decadent dishes, savory snacks, sweet desserts and select wines. It’s a feast for the palette!
Peformances on the Pepsi Music Stage include:

– Tim McGraw 8:30pm to 10:00pm
Tastings 101: (12:40pm – 6:30pm)
This tent will host tasting seminars to include mixologists, brew masters, and sommeliers.
The Tailgate Party: (4:00pm – 8:00pm)
Celebrating one of America’s favorite past times! Get ready for the ultimate tailgate party! Area’s top chefs serve up their personal twists on tailgating favorites like steaks, ribs, pizzas, sandwiches and wings, as well as the Pepsi Zero Sandwich Station and Don Julio South of the Border Fiesta.
Don Julio South of the Border Fiesta (4:00pm – 8:30pm)
Everybody loves the bold flavors that come from South of the Border! Favorite restaurants show off their top Mexican dishes for guests to taste along with festive traditional cocktails.
Empire City Casino (2:00pm – 8:30pm)
Tables, dealers, cocktails, and prizes – come join Empire City and try your luck! Tables open at 4:00 pm. From to 2:00pm to 3:00pm, taste Top Bartender Showdown contestants’ cocktails and vote for people’s choice. DJ April Larken will be performing from 4:00pm – 6:30pm.
5th Annual Top Bartender Showdown presented by Ketel One (3:00pm – 4:00pm)
Best Mixologists curate their craft signature cocktails in a competition to crown the Cocktail King or Queen. Hosted by Gary Dell’Abate, an esteemed panel of judges will evaluate the contestants’ offerings, while guests sample the creations. Event location: Empire City Casino Tent.
Bud & Burgers (4:00 pm – 8:30pm)
Top restaurants showcase their artisan burgers. Guests can taste and vote for their favorite burgers to win the Foodies’ Choice Award!
7th Annual Burger Battle hosted by Adam Richman (5:00pm – 5:45pm)
Top restaurants feature their custom-crafted burgers for the highly anticipated Burger Battle judged by the Festival’s Celebrity Guests panel, including Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Daniel Boulud and more! Hosted by NBC’s Food Fighters Adam Richman, this popular event draws an enthusiastic crowd. Event location: Bud & Burgers Stage
The Greenwich 2018 Wine + Food Festival presented by PepsiCo is a multi-day event celebrating the area’s rich culinary landscape and showcasing innovation in the food and beverage industries.
It will benefit multiple charitable organizations including the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Foundation and Ment’or.
