On Nov. 17 at Cole Auditorium, featured speaker Mr. Dave White, Former Chief U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service and co-founder and partner of conservation consultants the 9b Group will speak. The hope is to generate awareness of the importance of soil to human life. According to the 9b Group, in just a few decades, farmers will have to feed 9 billion people a year. Keeping agricultural land productive will be critical to meeting food demands as will protecting the health and resilience of our environment.
