Among recent competitions, GHS Econ Club 9th and 10th graders took 2nd place the Euro Challenge. Their topic was Demographics and the Aging Population in Greece. PTA volunteers Jennette Leal and Maureen Harper were busy before spring break sending students home with fresh produce and items like bags of beans and rice their families can use for meal prep. The community pantry at GHS was originally started by Folsom House administrator Andrew Byrne and assistant dean Laura Boyd to help about 40 students.
