Greenwich P&Z Mulls GCDS Proposal for Staff Housing and Expanded Daycare

By: greenwichfreepress | 8 hours ago

The GCDS Schwarz Campus is 41.5 acres in the RA-1 zone and the school does not receive any FAR bonus for educational use. The Schwarz Campus at 23 Fairfield Road was originally part of the F.A.O. Even if the school added the requested units, they would still have remaining FAR, but the discussion revolved around the proposed multi-family apartment building in the RA-1 single family zone.

Governor Lamont Signs Legislation Making Absentee Ballots an Option for All Voters in Connecticut Elections

The legislation increases the penalty for harassing election workers from a misdemeanor to a felony on a second offense, including publicizing an election worker’s name or address with intent to intimidate. It also makes tampering with an absentee ballot drop box a class D felony. Additionally, it restricts federal law enforcement officials from being within 250 of a polling place or other sensitive election site without permission from state election officials or court order. The law empowers the attorney general to act against interference or intimidation.
