This weekend was the Republican State Convention. Joe Kelly, a candidate for State Senate in the 36th district, shared that he and his wife Jill had an enjoyable evening at the Mohegan Sun on Friday evening.

“We attended the Republican State Convention, where I was honored to serve as chairman of our delegation and Jill was a delegate,” he said, adding, “Our delegation included our endorsed gubernatorial candidate and State Senator Ryan Fazio, State Representatives Tina Courpas, Selectwoman Lauren Rabin, Town Clerk Jackie Budkins, BET member myself, Former State Representative Mike Bocchino, BOE member Paul Cappiali, and numerous other prominent Greenwich Republicans. Our delegation was united in all statewide votes.”
Mr. Kelly wrote that he also had the opportunity to connect with delegations from New Canaan and Stamford, as well as Greenwich, which collectively make up the Connecticut Senate District 36, for which he is seeking to fill in Mr. Fazio’s seat in November.
Ryan Fazio received the unified endorsement from the Republican party and all 21 votes from the Greenwich delegation.
