Round Hill Volunteer Fire Company “Family Fun Day” Set for April 6

The “Family Fun Day” event is open to children and families of all ages and will feature a Fire Station Bounce House, an inflatable Fire Truck Obstacle Course, Carnival Games, Sports Games (Double Shot Basketball, First Down Football Toss, Soccer Challenge Score-A-Goal), a 9-Hole Mini-Golf Course, as well as Round Hill Fire and GEMS Touch-A-Truck, Balloon Artist, Face Painter, and Arts & Crafts.  Three Food Trucks and an RHVFC Bake Sale will be on hand to provide food options. April Is Distracted Driving Awareness Month: “Put the Phone Away or Pay”

Connecticut law prohibits the use of any hand-held mobile electronic device while operating a motor vehicle. Drivers who are 16 or 17 years of age are prohibited from using a cell phone or mobile device at any time, even with a hands-free accessory. Violating Connecticut’s distracted driving laws can be costly.
