BET chair David Weisbrod said Districts 1, 2 and 8 increased at faster rates, with District 1 increasing 37.7%, District 2 increasing 30.6% and District 8 increasing 30.7%. The town’s Assessor, Lauren Elliott said there were a bout 950 appeals to the Board of Assessment Appeals (whose members are elected) out of the town’s 20,000 parcels.

Kara was found tied outside a high-kill shelter and had been abused. Her DNA says she is 50% German Shepherd, 25% Cocker Spaniel and 25% American Staffie, but she looks like a Greyhound. At Adopt-A-Dog, she is triggered by the barking dogs and deteriorates almost immediately, so she really needs a permanent home. If you’re not in the position to adopt Kara, please share her.
