After 2024 ZBA Approval of “Tortured Lot Line,” Field Point Circle Properties Sell

At a September 2024 Greenwich P&Z commission meeting, a proposed coastal subdivision to transfer land between 0 and 60 Field Point Circle was denied, but in December 2024, the ZBA approved it. Both lots have since sold for a combined total of $125+ Million.

“What started as a conversation about modernizing an aging facility has grown into a comprehensive redesign of Morlot Park — relocated fields, regraded terrain, retaining walls, new access roads, geothermal infrastructure. Most Greenwich residents have never seen this expanded plan presented publicly…bundling $38.5 million in construction funding into the same vote, before design is finished — is an unprecedented departure from that norm.”
