Old Greenwich Merchants are again busy planning for next “Art in the Park” event, which is set for Sunday, June 7 in Binney Park in Old Greenwich from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. (Rain date is Sunday, June 14).

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Pat Bria Scholarship Fund, established to honor the legacy of Coach Pat Bria and his lasting impact on the Greenwich community.
State police said that as a result of the search warrant execution, they made 100 in-custody arrests. Investigators seized approximately $90,000 in U.S. currency. The Connecticut Dept of Agriculture located 273 birds on the property of 55 Mountain Spring Rd. All 273 birds were euthanized due their deteriorated conditions.

As the shelter reopens later this month, a health screening will take place for all residents prior to entry. Older shelter residents and those with medical risk factors will be separated from the rest of the shelter population. Meals will be served in pre-packaged containers and dorms will be kept open longer to maintain social distancing. Twice a day, at a minimum, the shelter will be completely sanitized.
