The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Thunder Ridge Ski Area in Patterson, NY is offering ski and snowboard group lessons at a discounted rate when registered through the Greenwich Recreation office.
Participants must provide their own transportation. Lessons are for skiers and snowboarders, first grade and up. Freestyle Program for upper level snowboarders is for third graders and up.
Lessons only, for those Thunder Ridge season passholders, are available at $144.00 for six, 90-minute lessons.
The price of six group lessons and a lift ticket for the lesson and the remainder of the evening is $240.00. For a cost of $390.00 one can purchase six lessons, a lift ticket and rental equipment for the lesson time and the remainder of the evening.
Checks are made payable to “THUNDER RIDGE” but must be sent with the completed registration form and waiver to Greenwich Parks and Recreation, ATTN: Recreation Superintendent, 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich, CT 06836-2540.
