Crumbines: Re-Electing Peter Tesei Should Be a Slam Dunk

Letter to the editor from Bea and Peter Crumbine, Oct 20, 2017

Let’s get right to the point.  Re-electing Peter Tesei for a sixth term as First Selectman should be a “slam dunk.” To pick just a few of his many accomplishments, he has:  a) Delivered low and predictable tax increases.

In fact this year’s increase was the lowest in over two decades.  b) Streamlined town departments resulting in a reduction of twelve positions.  c) Obtained $13 million in savings by negotiating changes in the employee health plan.  d) Secured funding for the Safe Rides program. e) Finished the Central Fire Station on time and on budget.

Greenwich has benefited enormously from his consistent, deeply committed and common sense approach to the concerns of Greenwich residents. Please join us in voting for Peter Tesei on November 7.
