In an interview with Remy Cook at Party With Moms, Tamara Houston describes motherhood as a gift and talks about her five daughters and two sons. Her children, ages 14, 12, 9, 6, 4, 3 and 18 months are her “pursuit.”
Houston, who says “Motherhood is a journey,” prays that each of her seven children “will keep God at the center of it all, from the beginning through the end. I would love for them to have a personal relationship with their creator as they pursue their own destinies.”
As for her marriage to Knicks legend Allan Houston, Tamara says that given the demands of his career, their time together is sporadic. She says she enjoys a quiet dinner at Rebeccas or a ball game at Modern Barn in Armonk. “Thank God for date night!,” she says. “We believe that our children are the ‘fruit’ of our union.”
