A Star-studded panel came to the Cole Auditorium for the Greenwich International Film Festival “Sports Guys on Sports Movies” event at Greenwich Library on Thursday night.

Also on the panel with Mr. Greenberg were two-time NBA all-star Allan Houston, New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira, Ryen Russillo co-host of ESPN Radio’s Scott Van Pelt Show, All-Pro football defensive Patrick Kerney, and to complete the panel, movie producer, Cary Wood.
Movie lovers and sports fans, were in attendance as the panel delved into the issues and politics surrounding sport movies. Hollywood producer and panel member Cary Woods, believes and explained how many directors make every effort present a realistic depiction of the sports world, but what often takes place is, movies give way to dramatization.
Greenwich residents Houston and Teixeira were more than willing participants and support the film festival.

Mr. Houston used the platform to also discuss “Legacy of My Father,” a documentary he directed. “Legacy of My Father is a story about fatherhood, family and faith,” Houston said.
For the NBA All-Star, “Fatherhood is a universal and spiritual undertaking, and it’s an issue that affects our children’s lives and affects society.”
After the discussion, event goers went to Miller Motors of Greenwich for the after-party for more lively conversation over a beer.
