Register today for the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Muddy Up event, set to take place Sunday, Oct 2 at 9:00am at Camp Simmons, the Club’s 77-acre wooded property on Lake Avenue in Greenwich.
The club guarantees a great morning of fun for all levels of runners and walkers at their 5th annual Muddy Up 5K Race & Family Walk.
The Muddy Up race will not be timed and all participants will receive a hand-made medallion upon completing the course, which requires traipsing through 18 unique obstacles, crossing a rope bridge, plunging into a gigantic mud pit, and being ‘rinsed’ off by the Greenwich Fire Department at the finish line. Alternate pathways will also be provided.
This one-of-a-kind event is ideal for adults, teens and families. Though the trainls and obstacles feature plenty of mud, there will be alternate pathways!
Every dollar generated from the Muddy Up 5K supports the Club’s annual membership of nearly 2,000 children and enable the Club to continue to be affordable for all kids to be exposed to the unlimited opportunities that build character and self confidence. Register today!
