Check Out the Newly Renovated Teen Room at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich

The Junior League of Greenwich is pleased to invite the community to view the renovated teen room of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich on April 25.

Over the past 9 weeks, the Junior League of Greenwich and the teens of The Boys & Girls Club have been busy renovating, painting and rejuvenating the teen room.

The Junior League could not have done this transformation of the teen room alone.  Volunteers were joined by many members of the community including Frank Carpentieri, Garden Catering; Doug Kitchen, AG Williams Painting; Michelle Kellie, Rings End; Michael Messineo, Messineo Painting; Peter Ehnes, Turabian & Sariyan; and Michael Manning, regional and international art exhibitor.

“The teens needed a place to call their own – one that is just for them where they can feel comfortable to be teens and participate in the club’s activities,” said Bobby Walker, Jr., Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club.

The transformation of the teen room includes new furniture, new paint, new carpeting, new flat screen TV and much more.

The community partners who joined with the Junior League all felt the importance of contributing to the community and making an impact.

The entire community is invited to come and see the improvements!
