Experience the Sound to Returns to Greenwich Point on Sunday, June 26

At the latter location, local commercial Shell fishermen “host” a free raw bar of clams and oysters harvested form Greenwich waters and cooked Edible Seaweed (sugar kelp) also harvested locally. David Ogilvy to Be Recognized by Greenwich Historical Society for Lifetime Work in Historic Preservation

David F. Ogilvy will be granted posthumously with the Historical Society’s first annual David Ogilvy Preservation Award to recognize major accomplishments for lifetime work dedicated to the advancement of historic preservation in Greenwich. The award will be presented to Anne Ogilvy and family at the Historical Society’s Annual Meeting on September 30th which also will honor recipients of the Landmarks Recognition Program. The family-friendly event features 40+ groups, all with information and activities. The event is free and open to the public. There will be face painting, a free raw bar and tours of the schooner SoundWaters, a Marine Police boat, and a shellfish barge.
