Understanding Special Education 101: Abilis Speaker Series

The Abilis spring speaker series for families with special needs in Fairfield  and Westchester Counties will feature a talk by Jillian Aili, M.Ed, and Meaghan Nagurney, M.Ed, BCBA. The title of their talk is The Visual Learner: Using Visuals to Help Children with Autism Cope with Changes. The talk is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Abilis, 1150 Summer St in Stamford. There are many good reasons to use visuals with children with autism who struggle with changes and communication. Abilis to Host Valentine’s Day Dance at Eastern Greenwich Civic Center

Abilis’ annual Valentine’s Party will be held at the Old Greenwich Civic Center on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is open to adults of all ages with special needs.
