At Greenwich High School, headmaster Dr. Winters sent an email on Tuesday to all students announcing a memorial service has been planed for GHS junior Nicolas Del Priore.

The service is set for Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 am at the Second Congregational Church, 139 East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich.

According to the email, Nicolas’ parents want all to know that they will be collecting non-perishable food items at the memorial to donate to Neighbor to Neighbor in memory of Nicolas’ efforts through Roots & Shoots, which is a club at Greenwich High School that has partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor to combat food insecurity in Greenwich.

The specific items sought for the collection are tuna fish, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, rice and canned fruits.
