Greenwich High School Girls Swim Team Honored by Board of Education

Girls Swimming team recognized at the Dec. 17, 2015 Board of Education meetingThe girls swimming and diving Coach Lorraine Hokayem introduced the members of the GHS girls swim team during the recognition portion of Thursday’s Board of Education meeting at Greenwich High School.

The team won both the CIAC Class LL championship and the State Open Championship this year.

“This team saw success through depth in our lineup, rather than just a few outstanding athletes,” Hokayem said. “They also achieved individually with school records, and won the State Open title. They were also voted State of Connecticut’s Team of the Year.”
