At their March 26 meeting the Board of Selectmen discussed several topics that impact Greenwich Ave, starting with the possible return of Free Music Fridays. Selectwoman Lauren Rabin said the Reimagine Greenwich committee hopes to bring back Free Music Fridays, originally a way to get people safely outdoors during the pandemic. In 2022, the Chinese national in the US illegally used a stolen identity to obtain $94,742.73 in financing to purchase a 2019 Porsche Panamera from a Greenwich dealership. After the fraud scheme came to light, the dealership repossessed the vehicle before it could be resold.
