Greenwich Girl Scouts and the League of Women Voters Greenwich are presenting a “Women In Government Expo” on Sunday, April 19 from 2-4:00pm in Greenwich Town Hall. This is open to pre-K through grade 5 youth. The event is free.
Meet town leaders: Connect with women in town leadership and see how government decisions are made. Enjoy hands-on civic fun: Vote for your favorite Girl Scout cookie, stamp your civic passport, tour historic Town Hall and learn how to make a difference. Earn badges and keepsakes: The first 200 pre-registrants get a fun patch. Girl Scouts earn democracy and citizenship badges.
How You Can Make a Difference
The event features an expo-style format with interactive, hands-on activities with elected leaders in town, state and national positions. We encourage participation from representatives across different political parties to create a positive and empowering environment and event.
