Beautiful Day for Glenville Volunteer Fire Co’s Easter Egg Hunt

The Glenville Volunteer Firefighters again hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the firehouse.

Several hundred people attended, and children were grouped by age before being sent into specific areas to retrieve toy or candy filled eggs.

Each child also received a special toy from the event organizer, Tina Hoha.

The day was capped off with a visit from the Easter Bunny, who arrived on the GVFC Antique fire truck, driven by firefighter Vinny Ferraro.

The Glenville Volunteer Fire Company is a community-based, volunteer driven fire service established in 1903 to protect local lives and property. They host community events, such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and pancake breakfasts, and provide fire safety tips like testing alarms and clearing hydrants.
