As a result of these upgrades, the church has completely eliminated its reliance on fossil fuels and is expected to see an estimated 11,800 kWh in annual electricity savings, as well as a lifetime reduction of over 400 metric tons of CO2 emissions – equivalent to removing the greenhouse gases produced by an average gasoline-powered vehicle driving over 1 million miles.
