Red Monday, Red Cross Blood Drive, Follows Black Friday

As we enter the holiday season our hearts tend to be filled with love and caring.

It is the also start of the holiday shopping season when we look for gifts to give to loved ones and to acknowledge those who have been helpful during the year.

But the best holiday gift is free, and it represents a selfless act of kindness and caring. That is, to Donate Blood!

And BLACK FRIDAY is followed by RED MONDAY.

Monday, December 2, 2019, from 1:30pm to 6:30pm, there is a Red Cross Blood drive at Temple Sholom, 300 East Putnam Ave, Greenwich.

CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO DONATE or go to www.RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Because of the overwhelming support of donors, this drive has become the most productive drive in the State of Connecticut.

“We have plenty of  available appointment slots, plenty of beds and plenty of staff.  While we encourage an appointment for the fastest service, walk-ins are always welcome on a space available basis,” said Gary Silberberg, adding, “As always, we will have our famous deviled eggs, brie cheese and other healthy refreshments.”
