Pandemics aren’t scheduled, blood drives are!
That’s the message from the Red Cross who will be hosting a blood drive on Monday, October 4 from 1:30 to 6:15pm at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center at 90 Harding Road in Old Greenwich.
The Oct 4 blood drive has available appointment slots, and donors can register to donate blood by either calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by going online to www.RedCrossBlood.org .
There are a few changes for this drive. Walk-ins are not allowed. Donors can make an appointment by either calling 1-800-RedCross or by going online at RedCrossBlood.org.
Drink lots of water in days leading up to the drive and boost your Hemoglobin by eating food rich in iron.
And it is believed that the Town Vampire may make an appearance in anticipation of Halloween!
