Please Help or Share “Sheila & Sparky,” Pulled from NYC ACC by Adopt-A-Dog & Northwind Kennels

Sheila and Sparky

Sheila and Sparky, 10-year-old German Shepherds.

Sheila and Sparky have been at the vet for too long and will decline in the shelter noise and activity. Our friends Franchesca Biondo, Donna Nives and Penny at Northwind Kennels share their wish to find that special someone to take them both in.

Six weeks ago… Bonded senior German Shepherds, Sheila & Sparky, ten-year-old brother and sister were rescued from NYC Animal Control after being surrendered by their owner moving out of state.

They were pulled from certain euthanasia in a united effort by Northwind Kennels and Adopt A Dog!

Adopt A Dog founder Donna Nives generously sponsored their care and vetting at Rippowam Animal Hospital where they are current guests until we find them a quiet foster home to relax and wait together for the lifelong loving place to be for the time they have left… They are best with adults and no other pets… All vetting, foods and care items provided. Leslie THANK YOU for your stellar efforts to care enough to share such campaigns~ You are ONE in a Zillion!
This afternoon I spent time with the seniors at Rippowam with Catherine their caregiver, they were playful and enjoyed the walk we shared as I promised them a foster or better yet a lifelong someone to love them and make a place to call home for them as soon as possible…
The care they have at Rippowam Animal Hospital is amazing, they now wish for bonding in a home, especially Sheila, she is super affectionate and wants to cuddle, Sparky wants to frolic with her in comfort & joy~
