Call-A-Ride Seeks Volunteers for Free Transportation Service

Riders often express their heartfelt gratitude for being picked up and dropped off promptly on time for doctor appointments, grocery store runs, bank visits and errands. Unfortunately, there are times when potential riders are being turned away when there aren’t enough volunteer drivers. Adopt-A-Dog’s Puttin’ on the Dog Fundraiser Set for Sept 22

The money raised from Puttin’ on the Dog helps fund rescue transports, emergency medical care and the ongoing operations of the Armonk, NY shelter which typically houses about 30 to 40 dogs every day.
In fact, many of the shelter’s adoptable dogs will be on site to meet event goers. Multiple other shelters in the area have also been invited to bring available dogs and cats.  Continue Reading →
