Sign up for Power-Packed Summer Beach Fun with Sandpipers!

Sandpipers Beach Camp is not just a summer camp. It is a summer family. For children ages, 3 – 12, no other camps provide a true beach camp experience at an affordable price.

Young campers gather from all over to enjoy the serene setting of beautiful land and beach. In their bright yellow shirts with the Sandpiper bird logo, you will find groups of children swimming, playing in the sand, exploring, climbing, playing outdoor games, crafting and more!

This outdoor adventure offers four exciting bi-weekly themes between June 24 – August 15 from 9:00 – 3:00 pm.

“This year, based on popular demand, we decided to extend the hours but keep the cost affordable at $375 per two-week session. We want all youth to unplug and enjoy a relaxed, fun summer beach adventure,” said Yuki Ikeda, Program Director of the OGRCC and Co-Director of Sandpipers. Generations of families have grown up with Sandpipers. Campers become counselors and then become parents of Sandpipers. In some cases, campers grow up to even run and direct the Sandpipers Camp.

The OGRCC’s very own Program Director Yuki Ikeda, was a former camper, counselor, and now directs the program. He is excited to continue to help Sandpipers thrive and said, “I was very fortunate to spend many summers appreciating Greenwich Point while working at Sandpipers. We love continuing the traditions of Sandpipers which includes a field trip to Island Beach Day, making a memorable Tie Dye shirt, a class BBQ with classic games and a fun Pinata to wrap up the session.”

Co-Director Jenna Pelazza continues to enhance the camp with fabulous creative themed activities. Jenna is a full-time Social Worker at Mount St. Michael Academy and brings lots of great experience to the camp.

“We encourage kids to not just follow a schedule but to help push them to find creative ways to entertain themselves unplugged during free time,” Jenna said.

Jenna’s expertise has contributed to the four new beach sessions:

Red, White, & Blue Festivities: June 24 – July 5
Let the Games Begin: July 8 – July 18
Water, Water, Everywhere: July 22 – August 1
