Monger Mingle to Benefit Community Plates!

What are you doing Thursday night? Why not come sample fare from three of Greenwich’s premier specialty food purveyors and welcome the newest shop, Fleishers Craft Butchery to the hub.

Ten percent of all proceeds will go to Community Plates, the non-profit organization committed to ending American food insecurity by directly transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from restaurants, markets and other food industry sources to food-insecure families throughout the US.

Neighboring specialty food shops at The Hub include Fleishers Craft Butchery, Greenwich Cheese Co. and Fjord Fish Market

This event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to sample fare from all three shops, in addition to complimentary tastings of beer and wine, sponsored and poured by Cos Cob Liquors. The event is free and open to the public.

Thursday, November 12, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Hub in Cos Cob, 160 East Putnam Ave.
