Easter Bunny Delights Hundreds at Glenville Volunteer Fire Company’s Annual Easter Egg hunt

The Glenville Volunteer Fire Company once again hosted more than 200 Greenwich residents at their annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Children were organized into age groups, and were charged with finding up to six eggs – each filled with various toys or candy.

Children were also given a special ticket to redeem for a toy at the firehouse.

Firefighter Vinnie Ferraro and Michael Hoha brought the Easter Bunny on the company’s classic fire truck, which proved ideal for photo opportunities.

Tina Hoha, a member of the Glenville Fire Police, managed the entire event and handled double duty as the toy dispenser.

More than a dozen members of the Glenville Volunteer Fire Company handled all the details associated with making this year’s event a successful one.

Next up for the Glenville Volunteers is the annual Touch-A-Truck event, set for May 18, from 9:30 to 2:00 at Greenwich Town Hall, where they’ll bring various firefighting apparatus for all to enjoy.
