Greenwich Land Trust and Greenwich Community Gardens are pleased to announce Tour de Veggie, their 4th annual self-guided tour celebrating some of Greenwich’s most vibrant and productive vegetable gardens.
Open to the entire community, the event will take place rain or shine on Thursday, July 30.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a curated selection of private vegetable gardens throughout Greenwich from 10:00am. to 3:00pm, discovering creative growing techniques, sustainable gardening practices, and plenty of inspiration for their own gardens. Patron-level ticket holders are also invited to attend an exclusive catered picnic at Greenwich Land Trust’s Mueller Preserve from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
“Tour de Veggie is one of those special events where our mission meets our audience quite literally in their own backyards,” said Will Kies, Executive Director of Greenwich Land Trust.
“In partnership with Greenwich Community Gardens, we showcase a different collection of gardens each year, highlighting the remarkable variety of edible landscapes found throughout our community. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, there’s something to learn and enjoy at every stop.”
Terri Browne Kutzen of Greenwich Community Gardens added, “Tour one garden or tour them all—at your own pace. Tour de Veggie offers a rare opportunity to peek behind the garden gate and gather inspiration from some of Greenwich’s most passionate growers. Seeing the exquisite gardens on this year’s tour will also offer an uplifting reminder of the community spirit that connects gardeners, both within the fences and all across town.”
Tickets are available now at Greenwich Land Trust.
Garden Tour tickets are $50 per person and include admission to all featured gardens. Patron tickets begin at $275 and include both the daytime garden tour and the exclusive evening picnic at Mueller Preserve, along with additional recognition opportunities.

The garden map which is your entry ticket will be mailed to ticket holders through July 20.
Tickets purchased after July 20 must be picked up in person at Greenwich Land Trust’s office, located at 370 Round Hill Road in Greenwich, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
