Greenwich Land Trust to Host Expert on Creating Native Meadows

Greenwich Land Trust and Greenwich Garden Club announce a session with Pennington Marchael, “Building Native Meadows” on Thursday, June 2.

The event starts with cocktails at 5:30pm and the program begins at 6:30pm.

Join Pennington Marchael of Pennington Grey landscape firm to learn about building native meadows, different approaches to constructing them, the overall benefits versus turf, and other eco tones that we have through out the northeast.

With 10 years of experience in fine gardening, project management, and ecological restoration, Pennington Marchael, has become a leader in natural areas and meadow management.

With hundreds of acres of native meadow seeded from Virginia to Upstate New York, he has broad understanding of what it takes to build successful meadows from seed.
