Celebrate Independence Day with a bang! On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the skies over Binney Park and Greenwich Point will come alive with dazzling fireworks displays in honor of our nation’s birthday.
These beloved community events are presented by the Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation, with support from various Town agencies.
Each location provides a distinct atmosphere: Enjoy a performance by the Sound Beach Community Band at Binney Park, or catch a live DJ set at Greenwich Point.
“This is one of the most anticipated events of the year,” said Joseph Siciliano, Director of Parks & Recreation. “Whether you choose the shoreline or the park, it’s an unforgettable evening for family and friends.”
Support the Fireworks: Donate to ‘A Bang for Your Buck’
While the Town funds the majority of the fireworks, community contributions to the ‘A Bang for Your Buck’ fundraiser help extend the show with even more exciting and dramatic effects.
Contributions start at just $25 and are fully tax-deductible.
“Every dollar truly makes a difference,” Siciliano added. “You can hear the crowd cheering for more every year—your support helps us deliver that ‘wow’ factor.”
