Greenwich Teen Organizes Team for Sharon’s Ride. Run. Walk. to Raise Funds and Awareness of Epilepsy

patSharon’s Ride. Run. Walk., an event to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation is set for Saturday, May 14 in Stamford. Registration is at 11:00 am  and the event starts at 12:00 pm in Cove Island Park.

In Greenwich Pat Clisham, a student at Greenwich High School, is forming a team for the event and invites anyone interested to join his team.  (Click here and type Team Pat into the ‘Join a Team’)

According to Pat, a student at Greenwich High School, “One out of 26 people will develop it sometime in their lifetime. Sadly, 1 out of 3 will have uncontrollable seizures even while on medication. Please help me raise awareness and funds for this disease.”

Each participant will receive an official Sharon’s t-shirt & event lunch ticket.

Participants are encouraged to join a team…or start your own! It’s easy and fun. You will be able to create your own team page with a photograph, your story and set your own fundraising goal.

There is a page set up for Team Pat to encourage family, friends and business associates to make a donation if they can’t attend the walk.

The Epilepsy Foundation leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.
