The Retired Men’s Association of Greenwich (RMA) recently hosted its Third Annual trip to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Members, spouses, and friends of the RMA once again enjoyed excellent rounds of tennis watching practice sessions of the pros like Coco Gauff, Novak Djokovic, Jessica Pegula, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Leylah Fernandz, Tommy Paul, and many more.

“This was my first experience at the US Open Fan Week with the RMA, and I was delighted to watch Gauff and Fernandez battle it out in Arthur Ashe Stadium,” said Genevieve Howe. “They were both playing high-level tennis as if it were the championship finals. My husband, Mike, 3rd Vice President of the RMA, also got to watch his favorite player, Ben Shelton, fire shots across the net.”

With 250 members and 17,000 volunteer hours contributed each year to local charitable organizations, the Retired Men’s Association of Greenwich is a vibrant part of the community.
The RMA also provides fellowship through an active calendar of sports and hobby groups, special events, and educational and cultural experiences.
While most people familiar with the organization know the RMA for its commitment to volunteer service, the weekly RMA Speaker Program may be its most sought-after function, bringing the public together to hear engaging speakers on a wide range of topics.
