High Bond Set for Port Chester Man Following New Year’s Eve Incident

At about 10:00pm on New Year’s Eve, Greenwich Police responded to a report of a person breaking through the front door of an apartment on Prospect Street.

After interviewing all parties, it was determined that Modesto Armenteros, 33, of 5 Grove Street in Port Chester had broken the front door of the residence to gain entry despite having no legitimate purpose to be there, and caused the victim to be extremely fearful for her safety.

According to Police, Mr. Armenteros  was arrested and charged with Burglary 1, Criminal Mischief 3, and Disorderly Conduct.

His bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on January 3, 2017.
