Head Basketball Coach Named at Greenwich High School

Todd Trimmer has been named the Head Basketball Coach by Greenwich High School Athletic Director Gus Lindine.

Trimmer is replacing Chris Lovermi, who resigned at the end of last season as head coach of the Cardinals.

Coach Trimmer has had basketball experiences on multiple levels. He began his high school coaching career at Stamford High School as an Assistant Varsity Coach.

Last season, Coach Trimmer was the Interim Head Basketball Coach at Darien High School. In addition, Todd has coached many camps, clubs and youth teams.

As a student-athlete at Mentor High School, Coach Trimmer was a standout member of their basketball team.

During his high school career, Todd was named the Greater Cleveland Conference Player of the Year and Northeast Ohio Player of the Year. Upon graduation, he chose to pursue his academic and athletic career at Yale University, where he was a vital member of their basketball team. While at Yale he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Studies.
