Circus Comes to Town: Temple Sholom Selma Maisel Nursery Schoolers Get in on the Act

At Temple Sholom’s Selma Maisel Nursery School, full-day preschoolers participated this week in the “Under the Big Top” circus workshop with Polly Solomon of Polaris Circus Arts.

Though there were no elephants or clowns, there was a touch of magic and a lot of make believe.

The pre-schoolers in the age 3-5 full day program learned how to juggle, spin plates, and do tricks with scarves.

And while there were no live animals, they walked like bears, monkeys, walruses, bears and crabs.
