Riverside Man Known to Greenwich Police Arrested at Town Hall

On Tuesday, a Riverside man known to Greenwich Police was arrested following an investigation into two separate complaints of a disorderly subject.

At about 11:40am police responded to Carrona Drive on a report that Ernest Drupals, 48, instigated a confrontation with a neighbor.

Drupals was leaving the area as police arrived.

Police say Drupals intentionally drove his vehicle into the path of a police cruiser causing the officer to make an evasive maneuver to avoid a crash.

Later in the day Drupals went to Town Hall where he acted in a loud and disorderly manner which resulted in a call to police.

Police located Drupals in the parking lot where he was arrested.

He was charged with Reckless Endangerment 2 and Breach of Peace for the incident on Carrona Drive and Disorderly Conduct for the incident at Town Hall.

He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on February 2, 2020 to answer all charges.
