Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct in Byram

Greenwich Police arrested a New York City man after he allegedly tried to push his way in the door to a Byram residence  on Monday afternoon.

Police say they received a 911 call around 5:15pm from a resident who was holding the door shut as Richard S Goleniewski, 60, of W 96th Street in New York, NY, known to the victim, tried to push his way inside.

On scene investigation determined that Mr. Goleniewski was intoxicated and engaged in a physical confrontation with the victim.

He was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Goleniewski’s bond was set at $1,000, which he was unable to post. He was assigned the next available court date, Dec 31, 2019 in Stamford Superior Court.
