Another Forced Entry Burglary Reported in Greenwich

Greenwich Police announced on Monday that there was another residential burglary.

This incident took place on Cotswood Road, which is on North Street near town, some time between 5:30 am on Dec 7 and 10:30 on the 12th.

According to Lt John Slusarz, there was forced entry made through the back door. The investigation is open and the residents are in the process of doing inventory to determine what might be missing.

Slusarz said there was a porch pirate incident on Dec 12 on Fairfield Road. He said there are no leads to date.

Last week there were three recent residential burglaries announced. All of them also had in coming that the homes were forcefully entered from rear windows.  A burglary on Round Hill Rd was reported on December 11. A burglary on Shore Rd was reported on December 9. A third burglary, this on Doubling Rd, was also reported on December 9.

In all three incidents the homeowners are inventorying their possessions to determine what might have been stolen.

Previously, a home on Stillman Lane was burgled sometime between Dec 4 and 6.
